Mac

This tip is for Mac users. Did you ever notice that the time on your computer was wrong?  Maybe a different time zone or just the wrong time?  That can be caused by a number of things, but for those computer users who don’t know how to change the time on their machine, the fine people at Google will show you how.

So without further delay…..

Turn it back on Holding the command (Apple) Key, Shift Key, The “P” key, and The “R” key.
Your should here the chime as if it were starting up, keep holding the keys and wait to hear the chime 3 times then let go.

If that does not work, start the mac using Single User Mode

Turn off the machine.
Turn it back on and hold done the command (Apple) key along with the “S” key
Wait for the text to stop loading, you will see a flashing cursor appear when it is finished.
Type fsck –fy and hit enter.
This will launch the Disk Repair Utility at the very base level of the machine.
After it is finished, type reboot at the flashing cursor, and cross your fingers.
