Google Chrome Upgrade to 6.0.472.53
Published September 3, 2010 | Google has released a new version of their Chrome browser. This upgrade boasts of even faster javascript processesing and other features that seem to speed up your web browsing experience as well as some security updates.
One of the biggest features that you will notice is the change in the menu system in the upper right corner. Now, there is only the little wrench tool which opens the menu. Take a look around. Some items have been moved around.
To upgrade from the current version:
1. Click on the little wrench tool to open the menu.
2. Click on About Google Chrome.
3. If you see a button that says Upgrade Available, click on it.
After the update is done, you will be asked to close Chrome and restart it for the changes to take effect.
So far in my experience with the new Chrome Browser, it does seem faster.
