$199.00The upgrade can not be done online. It requires that I have the computer and all of your application disks (Word, Quicken, etc), and the computer to complete the upgrade properly. The process will take from 3-7 days, depending on my workload.
The upgrade process will include:
- Imaging your hard disk
- Running the Microsoft Transfer and Settings Wizard to backup users, settings, and files
- Formating you drive (Only in the case of XP, 32 to 64 bit upgrades, and other version upgrades)
- Installing Windows 7
- Installing all of your applications that you provided
- Doing all Windows 7, application, and driver updates
- Restoring your user accounts, settings, and files
- Tuning Windows 7 for optimal performance
If your computer requires more RAM or an upgraded video card, you will be contacted for approval.
If for any reason your hardware can not run Windows 7 there will be a $50.00 Service Fee.
Once the upgrade is finished, I am not responsible for missing applications if you did not provide them, or for old software that will not run properly on Windows 7. There may be certain applications that you have to install, like printers unless you bring me the printer and application.

Remote Windows Support
The price for an appointment for Remote Support is $150.00 for up to 2 hours. Charges for more than 2 hours are billed at $50 per hour. You can use a credit card or PayPal to pay for the service.Please Note, the average amout of time to clean up and tune up a computer is between 4 and 6 hours. However, it has taken much longer depending on your computer.
We will spend a few minutes talking about your issues before we start. If I determine that I can not fix your problem, there is no charge.

Data Recovery
There is a non-refundable fee of $50 to evaluate what and how much data can be recovered. This process could take from an hour to a couple of days to complete.The charge for recovery starts at $250 in addition to the evaluation fee. Data will be recovered to a new hard disk, CDs, or DVDs. You may supply a new hard disk. We also sell them.
The fee to create CDs is $10 each for high quality 650MB CD-ROMs. The fee to create DVDs is $20 Each for high quality 4GB DVD-ROMs.
If the recovery requires obtaining a replacement logic board for the bad drive, an additional fee to locate and purchase the board will be charged.
In all cases, we will notify you by phone after the evaluation with the information about your data, the price, and how long it will take to complete the recovery. Your signed authorization will be required.
