Remove Norton and Install Microsoft Security Essentials

I have a new computer and I installed Norton for 30days free. 9/10 30 days will be up. How do I uninstall all of Norton ….. and then install Microsoft essential free…….what do you think? I heard someone on Steve & Johnnie show re disliking Norton. Thank you……

Hi Diane,
You’ve probably heard all of us say that Norton products can cause problems with computers specifically slowing them down and or interfering with your network connection.
To remove Norton, go to my http://savemybutt.com, and download the Norton removal tool from the downloads page. Make sure that you’re not using the one that says nine acts as that is for people still using Windows 98.
Run the removal tool, reboot your computer, and then go to http://microsoft.com/securityessentials to download and install Microsoft security essentials.

I want to download security essentials and will remove norton but need to know which part/section of norton i can keep or if all of norton must be removed. I like having norton essentials for the ease of use when it comes to defraging the registry and registry clean and disk clean options all in one place. If Norton must be completely removed then im ok with that.
