    Dear Mike,

Great Job! Amazing Show! I LOVE “WEB-SITE-WEDNESDAY-NIGHT” on WGN Radio from Chicago! Steve, Jonnie, YOU, the whole ‘gang’; simply fantastic! Question: On last night’s show, you mentioned a few other sites besides, for example, one mf my favorites, “File-Hippo” as being good SAFE places to find interesting downloads for things we use on our computers, etc. I missed the chance to write the others down, I think you mentioned about 4 in total. Could you E-Mail the other “FILE-HIPPO”-like sites that offer these downloads? Or, Call, and leave them on my Confidential Voice Mail System? Here’s the info…and I KNOW you’re busy, I deeply appreciate it!

I’ll absolutely keep you in mind for future help REMOTELY if I need it, as I have used a similar service before, and it’s amazing! Obviously sometimes, if you’re really stuck, it’s well worth the fees and costs!

God Bless, and thanks for all that you, Steve and Jonnie, and everyone else do to keep my effectively “on-the-air” quite flawlessly with my Computer…

    Hello Mike,

I have been using Windows One Care for some time now. I need to renew same but the stores I have purchased same do not carry the disk (Walmart,CompUSA, Office Max etc.)
    Did Microsoft eliminate this program?

    Thanks,………GREAT SHOW !

    Craig

  3. Mike Says:

    Hi Craig,

The reason you can not find Windows One Care is because it is no longer available. Microsoft took it off the market and replaced it with a new, free, product called Microsoft Security Essentials.

Uninstall One Care. Then download WSE, http://www.microsoft.com/security_essentials/?gclid=CJORtrXa3Z0CFSANDQod73-wNA, and install it. You may find that it does not slow your computer down as much.
