How To Use Ccleaner
CCleaner is a freeware system optimization, privacy and cleaning tool. It removes unused files from your system - allowing Windows to run faster and freeing up valuable hard disk space. It also cleans traces of your online activities such as your Internet history. Additionally it contains a fully featured registry cleaner. But the best part is that it's fast (normally taking less than a second to run) and contains NO Spyware or Adware!
This software works on all versions of Windows, including 2000/XP/2003/Vista.
Step By Step Instructions
After you have downloaded and installed Ccleaner you will find an icon like the one below on your desktop.
Step 1: Double click on the icon to start the program
Step 2: Click on the Cleaner icon (the broom) in the menu bar on the left the click on the Run Cleaner button in the lower right corner of the Ccleaner screen.
Step 3: You will see a warning tell you that the junk files it finds will be permenantly removed. Click on the OK button to continue.
It may take a few minutes to complete the first time you run Ccleaner. It will only take a few seconds when you run it from here on. You will see the progress bar as Ccleaner is running, then a list of the files it has removed.
Step 4: When the clean up is complete, click on the Close Window button in the upper right corner of the Ccleaner screen.
